Welcome to Ask Snapzu's first Question of the Day! Today's question comes from /u/White.
What have you all done recently?
I finally mastered smoking fish right. Took me 5 tries to get them perfect with proper texture, saltiness & general flavor.
Did you use the fish you caught on your trip?
Is the smoking process itself really difficult? I'm suddenly interested in trying (that may have something to do with my mouth watering).
Yep, the fish I smoke are all caught by me or friends that came on the trip. While not really difficult (I mean all smoked fish is pretty tasty), it takes some time to get it just right. Oh and, you can smoke any fish, you don't need to go out and catch them, you can buy them from the fish market too.
Sweet, I'll try it with some store-bought fish since I can't catch any. Must be really satisfying to eat what you've caught and smoked yourself, though.
I wrote my first PHP code for a webpage! It turned out that specifying an encryption type even for plain text just confused the browser.

I started planting a fire escape herb garden for the summer - after killing a rosemary bush, a mint plant and some flowers, my succulents seem to be doing well. Buying some more pots and trying new herbs again today.
Wow, I'd love to try that out. Unfortunately, I think it's illegal where I am (safety reasons).
You should post about the process with pictures sometime!
