I have always wanted to go to Iceland. From what i've seen in pictures, movies and read about it's a beautiful place. However, I want more that just to know about it.. I want to go there I want to see the sights with my own two eyes and smell the air and make conversations with the people It's a under looked country but I dream it'll be truly fantastic.

I was about to say the same! Iceland is number 1 on my bucket list of countries to visit.

Iceland is just a beautiful country. I have two friends there just now on holiday and they are loving it.

I looked into going there. Not too expensive (the most being the flights). Other tourists have said that most people are nice in Mongolia, but there are certain things to follow, such as always accepting gifts with an open right hand.

Japan! I've always had this obsession with Japanese culture. I think it's so beautiful. My dad probably endorsed the idea, since he lived there for about 5 years. Then I started to like anime and Nintendo, etc. which definitely did not help.

Agreed on the Japan! Always been my dream to go backpacking through the country. My neighbor managed to do it before me and showed me some pictures, and now me and my best friend decided we should do it together at some point in the next 10-15 years. Doesn't help when I keep meeting people who've lived there for a while or grown-up there.

Yeah, it definitely does not help when you've known people who have been there. I don't think anyone I have met say that they didn't like Japan (except my professor, but I doubt he has even been there lol). This video is probably one of my favorites. Then again, I'm a sucker for travel videos.

Yeah I've rarely heard anything extremely negative from my friends that have been there or are currently there. And thanks for the awesome video share! I'm just gonna have to start collecting these to pump up the excitement...

Iceland for sure. One of my favorite bands has been Sigur Ros since I was really young, and them being Icelandic has given me a dream of listening to their songs in their beautiful country!

My boyfriend and I have discussed taking an Antarctic cruise some time after I graduate. It's pretty expensive, but it'll be cool to say that we've been to Antarctica. :)

Some day I want to visit the soda pop stop, and buy all the soda I can find. For those of you who don't know, the soda pop stop is a store that sells hundreds of different types of sodas from small breweries all across America. They have some of the best stuff you can get, and always choose quality over quantity.

I would go for Iceland definitely, followed by Canada. I plan to buy a house in Spain within the next 2 years and use it as a holiday/family home.

Part of my country which I would really like to visit is St. Kilda - The Island was isolated for many centuries and has an interesting story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Kilda,_Scotland

I would love to visit Australia, and just go explore the outback.

Antarctica is on my list of dream places because its not as 'easy' to get into as anywhere else. Space is also somewhere I definitely want to go before I'm gone

Taiwan. I took Mandarin in High School and both of my teachers were from Taiwan. All of the pictures they showed me and stories they told about the forests, mountains, and culture there made it sound like an incredible place!

For me, it's a revisit I dream of.

A few years ago, I traveled the world, including the Middle East for a while. I visited Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, and the West Bank. I also visited Syria, and it was the highlight of the 35 countries I've visited so far.

The people were just incredible. I've been told "Welcome to Syria" more times than I can remember. I've been invited to dinners. I've had taxi drivers offer me a free ride twice. I've rarely felt as safe and welcomed as I did in Syria back then. But that wasn't all... The food, too, was downright amazing. And yes... Sorry Lebanese friends, your cuisine is fantastic, but Syrian food was better. Finally, I saw some of the most wondrous sights I've ever laid eyes on. The Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, Old Damascus, the souq in Aleppo, the Krak des Chevaliers... It was mind-blowing.

A huge chunk of all that is gone now. I weep for Syria, and I wonder how the people I've met, who were so kind to me, are faring now.

I dream of peace for Syria, so I can visit them again.
