The Christian right hates abortion. Easy access to contraception would be a surefire weigh to nearly eliminate the need for abortions, but they hate contraception that too. I think what they ultimately hate is women having sex for the simple joy of having sex. I swear if we gave the Christian right the power they'd take us straight back to the middle ages.
Well they seem to be stuck in the fifties on onter issues as well. I just wish they would open their eyes to the fact that education and access to birth control has and will reduce abortions.
I can see that being a reason as well. Although with the ACA in place women can now get contraception for free through other means which helps. It would still hurt a section of the population that cannot or do not want to see a primary physician.
