I've been an avid user of macbooks for the better part of the last decade. The machines have spoiled me with their intuitive touch pads, and convenient keyboards as well as an overall level of build quality that is generally unmatched by any other laptop. But, I will have to agree that I will be sticking with the old macbook pro for as long as I can, and since mine is fairly recent (2014), I think I have at least 3-4 years of usage if not more out of it. Hopefully, Apple will get their shit together by then and figure out how not to insult its core customer base with the crap they are releasing these days.
