So we have someone come to give a talk at work on Monday. He was ready to start, and suddenly his laptop started updating Windows, without ever asking. The message read something like "this will take a while". We had to rush to find him another computer. WTF are these people thinking? What if that computer was in charge of someone's life support or something?
