Think you know what alien life may look like?
The search for planets outside our solar system has been much in the news for the past couple of years, with most of the attention, and questions, focused on "habitable" planets - do they exist, and if so are at least some in fact harboring life? And the biggest question of all: What might that life look like?

I read somewhere that there's a large chance that the dominant species on an alien planet that was similar to ours would most likely have an exoskeleton (not an endoskeleton, like us) because they make more sense in terms of dealing with atmospheric pressures.
This is actually a reasonable claim, but the question is, just how advanced IS the dominant species on that planet?
