Artificial sweeteners may exacerbate, rather than prevent, metabolic disorders such as Type 2 diabetes, a study suggests. Calorie-free artificial sweeteners are often chosen by dieters in part because they are thought not to raise blood sugar levels.

Further studies are needed to provide any kind of conclusive statement, because as of right now it's all preliminary.

Yup,Stevia is the way to go.
Yeah all natural, our local stores just recently started selling Zevia, a soft drink brand that's sweetened with Stevia. It's great.
Never actually tried it. I figure all of those things are bad for you and I just stick to plain water or juice that has been significantly watered down. I personally don't really like it when things are too sweet anyway...
