I keep saying this, and I know it's probably a waste of time, but I'm hoping this country is not yet completely gone down the drain: if we keep calling each other Nazis and libtards, we're looking forward to increasingly authoritarian governments, more government corruption (yes, it is possible), and more getting screwed by the rich people pulling the strings. Remember, the banks and the billionaires don't give a shit about the US, they only care about themselves and their money, and they can take that money wherever they want to.

As much as you disagree with the other side's point of view, everyone has reasons for what they believe, and you gain nothing by dismissing those reasons and assuming they're just stupid. Whether you like it or not, you share a country and your fates are linked.

I agree with you. Sometimes I get really down and scared about the whole shebang, other times I just shrug cause what cha going to do? Me and a friend went to a candlelight vigil for those killed/injured when the crazy car event happened...Not much else to be done.
