We watch movies that play out the most horrific scenarios. Scenarios where humans are invaded by aliens with advanced technology only to rip us into pieces, turn us into goo and then consume us. We root for the humans, and feel nothing but hate for those evil beings. Yet, we are exactly like them, we treat the animals we eat with absolutely no respect, we skin and boil them alive, we rip them apart and torture them in the name of flavour.
