If by"solid"you mean "likely to turn your computer into a brick." It's been two years since its official release and it still isn't stable. I say this having recently worked to try to develop a stable SOE for deployment. Each update release carries a non-negligible risk of breaking Microsoft's own environment standards. The forums are blowing up with screams from sysadmins trying to manage the OS but can't trust Microsoft's own technical support.
