No problem! I can always get news from another source.

It’s funny to see all these people pretending that I should pay them for a chance to brainwash me.

Or just google the title. Many of these paywalls are "soft" paywalls, where they dont want to lose that juicy search traffic (most of their traffic).

There's an even easier way - at least in the case of Bloomberg's paywall. Just clear your cookies and it re-sets the counter of free articles you have available. I tried it just now and it works. You don't necessarily need to delete cookies from all time - just however long it's been that you've been using Bloomberg since they put in the paywall (e.g. past week, or whatever it is for you).

There is also an option to just delete cookies for a specific website which is pretty useful.

I wonder what impact on traffic this will bring. People are not going to spend hundreds of dollars for multiple news sites.

If this keeps up the newspaper industry might thrive again, it'll be easier to pick up the latest copy on Sunday and just read the entire weeks news at one time.

Seriously, this is probably going to lead to an increase of people that read nothing but the headline and form an opinion based on that. And we really don't need more of that.
