It's funny how scientists are are drying damned near anything to get to the superconductor goal. A recent story reported they were dunking it in wine and got a performance boost. So, eventually we'll have mostly-room temperature superconductors smelling like red wine and rotten farts. (not gonna make the obvious OP's mom joke here ;)
