I think Microsoft is in a really tough spot with this one. It really isn't as simple as getting rid of the Kinect that comes with every Xbox. It's pretty well known that the reason that it's included is so that devs have more incentives to integrate the Kinect into their games. Microsoft may have to start selling their consoles at a loss in order to get back into the game with Playstation.
