I mean, yes, Boko Haram is terrible, but it has made the news and continues to make headlines all the time. But it's an ongoing problem in an unstable part of the world instead of a single major event in an otherwise stable country, so it's no surprise there's been no unilateral response, since the problem or answer isn't simple. Otherwise, we'd have fixed Mexico and Afghanistan and saved the world twice over by now.
