    Similar to this article. I'm still not convinced at all. We've made progress, but nothing beats the interpretation of a human. There are too many things taken from context that can't be considered by an algorithm. Have you noticed how hard it is just to convey the proper tone through writing? Why we need to rely on emoji and "/s" tags? And that's communicating in the same language and culture! Now multiply these potential misunderstandings by language, syntax, culture, and you'll see what I mean.

    Anyone who speaks more than one language properly will have strong doubts about supposedly miraculous translation machines/algorithms.
