We grow them in our backyard and they taste very nice. Just have to pick them up ripe. Same applies to pretty much every fruit.
Same here. It's so nice to step outside and grab some tomatoes. Many farm stands have very nice ones as well. The heirlooms are my favorite,especially the dark varieties.
