To preface: I am not a macbook user, nor do I own one; the only times I've ever used a MacBook typically involved helping members of my extended or immediate family with troubleshooting problems on their MacBooks. I don't have anything against Apple products -it's just a tool with a different interface. Having said that..

I have a pet peeve in regards to the newer laptops, this latest iteration of the macbook included: That confounded [CTRL] and [FN] key switch!

If this is a general movement by all laptop manufacturers, fine. But a warning to people looking at these laptops: If you are a frequent short cut user (CTRL + S, CTRL +W, CTRL + TAB), then this will, initially, be infuriating. After a week, I managed to get over it, and several weeks later, I've managed to get used to switching between keyboards that have [CTRL][FN] and [FN][CTRL].

If that sounded like a rant, I apologize; seeing that key configuration from the stock photos elicited some violent flashbacks when I first got a new laptop.
