Not "if" but "when", and much sooner than they think. As always, the changes are happening faster than they will admit to. They have consistently refused to include many feedback loops into their climate models, and have ignored evidence of rapid climate turnover events that have occurred once tipping points have been reached.
"As always the changes are happening faster than they will admit to." To the contrary, the "changes" are no where near the earlier, admittedly alarmist scale, predicted. The reining back of just those sort of predictions is the current trend of climate science.
not to be super critical but its common sense that things near the ocean will be flooded if the sea level rises.
