I think the future is going to be dreadful for all but the wealthy. The only people who will benefit from all this stuff will be, of course, the one %. The rest of humanity will be under their thumb till they die.
I think at this point either a revolution will happen, or it will not because advanced robotics under the control of the rich will easily squash any type of low tech uprising. The movie Oblivion sums up how it would go down.
