This stuff is fascinating! To me this closeup of the white heart (Tombaugh Regio) looks like "mud" slowly pushing up to the surface, rolling over and covering sharper mountains and cliffs. The surface as a whole seems very varied, though, with impact craters and water ice mountains elsewhere.

I believe it will take two years to download all the data from New Horizons, though. I'm really looking forward to the high-resolution stereo images.
