It astounds me so many people fell for this overpriced slop. It's not that hard to boil seven eggs, put them in the fridge and eat one a day for breakfast What is wrong with people, don't they know what a stove is?

Our office was in Midtown, where everything is stressful and every transaction is a battle, and I was sick of fording Broadway so I could wait in line for 20 minutes for something bad and overpriced to eat. I had hacked breakfast with bulk Amazon orders of oatmeal. I would hack lunch with Soylent.

What the actual fuck? That woman needs to use her leet skills in investigative journalism to google "Top breakfast foods I can quickly make before I go to work", or "How to make dinner that leaves left overs for lunch the next day". If you want to complain about cooking, why not go back in time a couple thousand years and give it a try then.

With the rise of super markets, cooking utensils and you guessed it, fully equipped kitchens, cooking has never been easier and funner. I swear, if the world as we know it ended tomorrow, I know what demographic would starve to death before 1 month out.

Wow! this is a little necro, since it's months old, but I just started the /t/soylent tribe to talk about powdered foods. I've learned to cook, and am fairly good at it, I just don't like it all that much, so powdered foods seemed like a good idea then. Now that I've tried it, the benefits to me are obvious. I get to be healthy and spend less time in the kitchen...though when I do, it's strickly because i'm craving something specific, not because I need to eat.

Probably a good 25% of the US. There's no better feeling than eating a meal you made yourself.
