I don't think so; at least Android doesn't seem to expose the required functionality:
https://developer.android.com/reference/android/os/BatteryManager.html
https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=30612
btw, this is something that (good) laptops allow you to configure; e.g. my Thinkpad is set to "only start charging when below 50%, and only charge up to 70%"

You can essentially stay in ‘private browsing’ mode by enabling the ‘do not track history’ setting
This is totally wrong! While Private Browsing ensures that no "history" is saved in your profile (visited sites, cookies, form data,...), DNT just sets a header, telling sites "Please do not track me".
I'd suggest to always set DNT, but additionally use Private Browsing when appropriate.
You can also create a dedicated profile (firefox -P, or start the "Firefox Profile Manager") for... "special" purposes.

It doesn't really "work" the way it sounds like. It does not reduce the fat content!
If I understood correctly, chocolate needs to contain fat, so it stays "liquid" enough to go through pipes. Applying an electric field makes it "more liquid", so the fat content can be reduced -- but the electric field itself does not remove any fat.
