It seems like, from experience, that there's either a 49/49/1 split (Android, iOS, Windows), or a similar one with iOS slightly in the lead. I've seen a fair number of Android-based phones, but there's always been at least one iPhone to counter it. Is there a market that's not usually thought of? Is there something else that's accounted for, besides personal use of just a normal iPhone / Android phone?
How are 84% of all phones running Android?

It’s the circles you travel in. There are predictors for seeing mostly iPhones, and socioeconomic status is a basic one.
