It is truly a distortion and biased view to say this would be a three person baby. I don't recall seeing any similar criticism of Blood Transfusions, Organ or other tissue donations on these grounds. Mitochondrial DNA would be such a small fraction of the child's complement of DNA, but would end some horrendous genetic outcomes. Some sense from our politicians for once!
After reading further,I have no problem with this.
