It's pathetic and i can't believe that stupid old :"Make me a sandwich" meme is still being drug out and aimed at adults.
10 years later, people still proving John Gabriel's Fuckwad Theory to be true.
The internet is anonymous. Some people, knowing full well they can say shit they'd never say in real life, get off on that. They love playing bullshit in front of an audience.
Wired, in need of it's own audience, pays for this kind of crap, decrying how terrible it must be for poor wimmen in STEM fields.
To be fair, there's not a lot of women in IT. The ones I've met are fun, intelligent, and damn capable at their jobs.
