Britain's youngest Euromillions winner says it ruined her life
Britain’s youngest Euromillions winner has revealed she is planning to take legal action against lottery bosses for negligence. "I'm too stupid to have money, this is the lottery's fault!"
Getting a ton of cash at 17 is pretty much every teenager's dream... that is until they realize how that money can completely isolate you from all of your friends and family.
This is something even old adults have been known to say after winning the lottery, it's people don't know how to handle a sudden windfall amount like this. On top of that, you suddenly have everybody wanting money from you. The best advice I can give is to always take the annuity not the lump sum and get a great, not a good, but a fucking great financial planner/team that will act as your no guy when friends and family and long lost cousins want money. Sorry, it's tied up with my finance manager.
Yep. This is what you do if you have an IQ greater than 80 or so. If you don't know what to do with the money, go ask someone who does. It's not like you can't pay them for their services.
Exactly this!
"I won too much money so I'm suing for...more money."
