    Fitness bars are terrible. I doubt there are any regulations that specify what "fitness foods" really are.

    Also, just as Muffintop said, they are all full of sugar.

    Just read the ingredients in those "fitness" bars..What a crock!

      Agreed. The more I get into fitness, the more I see mainstream foods as a bunch of nonsense. Many of the healthy foods are glorified candy bars. Unfortunately, unlike eating a Snickers, the "fitness bars" give you a feeling of positive accomplishment, which is what this article is conveying...

    If you are really working out, you do need to replenish your body, and bars like this are a quick and easy way to do that in lieu of eating a meal. Thing is, people tend to underestimate both the time and intensity of their workouts. Most people do not need to drink a Powerade during or after they go to the gym.
