Nick Yarris builds new life after 23 years on death row
A former inmate who spent more than 20 years on death row in the US has told of his plans for a new life as husband of a 23-year-old British barmaid. Cleared Nick Yarris, 51, faced the electric chair after being framed in 1982 for the rape and murder of a woman in his native Pennsylvania.

I hope he got compensated for spending that much time behind bars for nothing.
Its not just the time behind bars.
The guy was on death row.. Thats nerve racking to think not only are you never getting out but also are going to die there.

Better be at least a couple million also.
I would say 1mil for each year...at LEAST
Well a million per year is a bit much, but considering that he was on DEATH ROW, he should have gotten a significant amount for all that mental torture. It also mentioned that much of that time was in solitary confinement, which is torture on it's own.
