Four terrible effects of Daylight Saving Time
You know the drill: Spring forward, fall back. And the clocks will indeed shortly fall back, bringing Daylight Saving Time to an end on Sunday, November 4.

I'm still waiting to hear the first good argument to keep it. Been waiting a lot of years.
Hey that's a really good way of looking at it!! All this time I've been thinking of good arguments to get rid of it, but... putting the ball in the other court and asking what is the good reason to keep it.... that's awesome. And yeah, I bet they can't come up with anything (besides "that's the way it's been done for the last 50 years" or whatever).
I've said it before and I'll say it again. END IT. Lets vote and see what the people want.
You may want to move to another country for that. What the people want is irrelevant here.
In the middle of winter, the days are too short no matter what end of the day the hour of sunlight goes. In summer, the days are so long there is plenty of daylight no matter what. Maybe it makes a tiny difference for a short time in spring or fall to have the clocks change, but.... is it REALLY worth all that hassle??
I wonder how long it'll be until they start asking to have it reinstated.
