I knew I was watching something brilliant when Max rose out of the sand after the initial road battle. The sound in that scene was brilliant, and it was all uphill from there.

Sure, let us know what you thought of it! But don't get your hopes up too much, that usually ruines the movie for me. The best movies end up being ones you know nothing about.
I loved this movie, I saw it twice. Second time with Dad for Father's Day of course. It was a hit with him.
Though I would not expect much of a story or deep, intellectual meanings out of it. It's pretty much just great action with badass characters.
This is the first movie ever that I watched twice or two days in a row. It's so simple (SPOILERS AHEAD), they're going from point A to point B and back.... but it's just so good! Action, photography, actors... everything was perfect! And the CGI is the best I have probably ever seen, nothing seemed fake.
Except the crash at the end where the guitar flew at the screen for a cheap 3D effect. Besides that I agree the CGI was great.

Well, everyone has he's own taste so... I liked it a lot for an action movie.
You're right, it was too much action for me but the movie is good for its genre.
Excessive in the best way. One of those movies that is so absurd that you can't help but love it.
If you want a really spectacular and brilliantly made action packed movie, this is the one. One of the best action movies of the last decade!
