As there are no specifics re: initial tax incentives for installation, rate paid for electricity generated, there is little to nothing to base any claims . Here in Indiana utilities pay a premium rate for electricity generated by such entities. There are problems inherent to any customer that may flow power back into any given system for utilities. Those require modifications to the actual distribution system, additional safety for lineworkers. Should your local utility, many times REMC members, be made to pay additional costs incurred when these state and federal subsidized generators are benefiting at every level?.............. It could well be viewed as another case of the have's benefiting at the expense of the have-not's.
