I think the general concept of grinding the McRib meat up like burgers and then stamping out the general "rib" shape is nasty. But people seem to accept it in burger patties and chicken nuggets, why not this.
Yep, that definitely helps. Plus their marketing team is a highly paid commercial tossing juggernaut that does nothing but think up was of selling these stamped out concoctions to the general public.
