I'm honestly not sure why the notification button lights up every time I make a comment or submit a snap. I get that it tells you you're getting experience, but I'd much rather be notified only when another user interacts with me somehow. It's a little annoying to have to clear out the notification every time I say something.
At the very least, would it be possible to turn that off?
Edit: It just occurred to me that this might simply be a bug on my end. Is this what the settings button within the notification window is supposed to be for? http://i.imgur.com/X2HaXKn.png

9 years ago+4 4 0Two more members of the Themed Pics Coalition - /t/WeatherPics and /t/EarthPics!
I figured I'd toss both of these into one post, since I'm the Chief of both tribes. I'm pretty excited about getting a Themed Pics Coalition going here on Snapzu. The idea, at least in my mind, is to sort of reimagine the SFWPorn Network from reddit, but less centralized in its management and more comfortable to talk about with your parents. ;) Each tribe will have its own chief, hopefully someone passionate about the theme. The ability to post Snaps in multiple tribes at once makes it a lot easier to have an umbrella tribe than on reddit. Post Weather Pics in both /t/weatherpics and /t/pics to have a place for everything and a place for specific interests. Yay!
So, without further ado:
/t/WeatherPics - For beautiful pictures of the wonder that happens in our troposphere. Clouds, lightning, tornadoes, hail, you name it!
/t/EarthPics - Beautiful landscape shots of our planet's geography.
Hope you enjoy!

9 years ago+7 7 0While this is still hardly a sapling of a community, can we discuss the usage of "Porn" in these tribes?
At the time of writing this, /t/EarthPorn only has 9 subscribers, so it's not too late to change directions.
I love the content that comes out of the SFW-Porn network on reddit, but I've never been comfortable with the name. I don't feel I can bring it up in casual conversation with family members or acquaintances. Does anyone else agree that we should, if we're going to create this network of high-res pictures, we should abandon the -Porn suffix? An easy fix I mentioned in this tribe's post in /t/newtribes is to call it /t/EarthPics and the like. That's just one idea though, and I'm sure we could come up with a good solution. Any thoughts?

Hey everyone! I can already tell I'm going to like Snapzu. Looks like it's going to take a while to get all my niche interests loaded up, but the layout of this site is so clean!
