There are people that are literally starving.. Soylent for them sounds like a godsend. This is a game changing technology, I really hope it sends up in the mouths of those who really need it most.
There's really no use-case for Soylent. It's a solution looking for a problem.
While it's interesting and I'd probably try it for a month whenever it becomes commercially available, there's no compelling reason why to choose Soylent over something like (for example) rice and beans, with the occasional multi-vitamin to make up for anything missing.
