    Farewell!

I've been thinking of the way to write this, but I honestly don't know how I should, and I'll break the truths open.

I'm not really interested in baseball as much as I used to, and I lack the motivation, as you can see by my constant procrastination. I'll be honest with you guys, I was sick and I came back home Thursday. I knew this page was a thing, and I know that if I cared and was still as passionate as I was before of this project, I would've been active from the get go, but here I am, now Tuesday, and I'm even procrastinating about making my daily game thread, so I feel now is the right time to break it down to you guys.

My life pretty much goes through phases, where my interests move from one place to the other, and I guess this is all part of that. There's no way of justifying it really, but if my motivation isn't there, it shows, and to keep it short, my activity did it this time.

So, I'm going to be packing my bags and devoting myself to my next project, always getting significantly bigger as I get older. I hope that I was part of some of you guys daily routines, that I somehow made an impact, even if it was small, and just know that I will remember this experience.

Another tendency of mine is to somehow and carelessly just remove all the evidence of my past projects, but I promise you guys I will check this page here and there just for my sake, and I won't be removing this page until snapzu dies out somehow. I would love to look back at this as an archive for me, and be something that I was proud of.

This time it isn't temporary, and I feel like the time is right to get out of here, because I'm not doing any good procrastinating and making myself feel bad.

So anyways, thanks everyone, and just know that I love you all :)

    Goodbye!

    Hello everyone!

Just making another post to update you all :)

First of all, thanks to Jscher for running the show. I know I kind of left this place selfishly, but life is gonna be life, and he has been a key contributor to why this place is still alive to this day, and without his major help, this place would be a desert. With that said, I can tell you guys what's next:

So, secondly, I got this message from the snapzu system:

    Dear Noisestrike,

    Your tribe /t/bluejays is now:

    a) Included in our categorized front pages (example: Science & Space). Your tribe will get an extra bit of exposure.
    b) Included in our tribe index page. People will be able to find your tribe easier.
    c) Included in top posts that get shared via our social media outlets such as Twitter, Wordpress, Blogspot, Tumblr, and Medium. (Examples from Science & Space category)
    d) Approved for our 50/50 partnership referral program and linked from within your Referral Program Home.

So, what this all means is that our tribe has been validated! I'm glad to see that we have gotten this far with the tribe and I hope it gives off a more promising future :)

Finally, I have started another project, an electronic record label and it's currently in the works. The plan is to have a huge compilation worth of tracks in order to kick it off with a bang. To specify, I've already signed all the producers, and they are working on their tracks for a specified date, while me and the others helping try to figure out all the artwork, visualizers, promotion, money distribution, etc.

I'm saying this because it's going to take a lot of work, time and dedication (I'm also working on an EP myself for the label), and I'm still uncertain about how much free time I'll have.

This is yet another project I'm starting (the last one being this tribe), so bare with me and I'll try and figure something out. I'll update you guys in two weeks on whether or not it's possible for me to run this page (I hope I do, I feel bad for being gone for so long).

Anyways, this is all I had to say. Thank you guys for the support!

    • Noisestrike (A.K.A Solize)

P.S. If ever you have someone who wants to check out /t/bluejays and doesn't have snapzu:

     1. The Referral URL can be used to seamlessly link people directly to your tribe. This unique link will enable a cookie that will allow users to by-pass Snapzu's invite code requirement when registering, and new referrals will automatically join your tribe and follow your account. This is an excellent tool if you already have a web presence, blog, or website, and you can just link it, forget about it, and use the steady stream of users to seed and grow your tribe. Feel free to use any of your user-generated content on your blog! NOTE: Do not share your referral URL on Reddit unless you are a moderator of the "sub-reddit" you are sharing on.

    It's The End

    Well, hello everyone!

Unfortunately, I will be quitting the tribe (It might be temporary*).

This is pretty much the 3rd time I'm thinking of how I should phrase this whole post correctly, as it's really hard for me to say goodbye to something I grew, with all the support you guys gave me.

As said, I will be leaving but only because of many reasons (and not because I don't want to do this anymore).

First of all, I have school that is ramping up in high intensity. I have a lot of work and projects to do, and it's occupying a lot of the time I have. If you live in Ottawa, you will know we had 5 snow days the past winter and it has really affected the speed in which work has to be done. If this was my only problem, I think I would be able to easily carry on with this side project.

Secondly, I might get a job soon. For me, I think this might be the real kicker to why I have to quit something. I don't think that I can manage my time to make consistent posts like I used to be able to last year. There's already something else that I care about which brings me up to my next argument.

Thirdly, I've joined a producer challenge recenetly that requires me to make songs each month. As a producer, that consumes a lot of time and now with this part time job option in the air, I probably will only be able to find the time to squeak this into my daily schedule. Nonetheless, this is what I care about the most, and really, I can't just leave music production because it's my biggest passion.

So with that in mind, I hope you can have a frame of mind of why I've decided to part ways. It's not about losing interest on this, it's simply a thing of not having enough time to continue on.

With all that said, thank you guys so much for everything. It's been a blast running this fan page and I will really miss doing this. I've had plenty of fun writing these posts (despite my lack of interest in writing, that for some reason I like doing this), and I've really appreciated the support, especially Jscher, who's made a lot of posts without me even asking him to do it.

Now, it might sound like the post is over at this point, but I do have other things in mind. If anyone is interested into being a moderator and taking the daily post job, I will check back every day for the next week and I will consider you. Take note that if you are granted the opportunity, you are carrying the legacy of this tribe and I will only expect good from you. You could be the future of this tribe!

    Anyways, thank you all!

    • Noisestrike (A.K.A Solize)

*If you noticed the asterisk, well, congratulations I guess? The reason why I say it might be temporary is because I will be finished school in mid-June (duh) and if I don't find myself to be too busy, I might come back. You never know... ;)

The Jays Win Their American League Division Series!

The roars of the crowd could be heard all across the stadium. The Jays had just won Game 5 of their playoff series against the Texas Rangers, at a score of 6-3. The Jays followed up with a grand celebration of booze as the Rangers widowed away, knowing that their season was over.

This win, was not easy though.

Stroman pitched a pretty good game, so did Hamels. They dueled to their mightiest, a few runs slipped through, a homerun by Edwin Encarnacion and some other plays by the Rangers too.

It was all pretty textbook, until, the 7th came.

Rougned Odor of the Texas Rangers was at third, Shin-Soo Choo at bat. In the middle of the at bat, Choo throws his bat out and Russel Martin the catcher who had just received the pitch from Sanchez, tried to throw it back, but unfortunately the ball hit Shin's bat and Odor took the moment from the wild throw to score for the Rangers.

Despite the fact that the run shouldn't of ever counted, the umpiring let it slide.

The fans were angry, and the MLB knew that they might of made a huge mistake, where a rule might of needed a change. The Jays protested.

But, the game wasn't over, and the Jays were not done with this game yet.

Quickly, the Rangers defense folded very quickly because of dropped balls, bad throws, and all of the sudden, the Jays had the bases loaded.

And then, the Jays tied it, with a little pop fly in the outfield, that dropped, just out of the reach of Odor. It was like the baseball gods knew of the play that had happened the half inning before, and were bringing it back for the Jays.

But, still, it wasn't over. Jose Bautista went up to the plate. Runners on 1st and 3rd, tie game with 2 outs, the most decisive play of the game happened.

A hit ball could be heard by Jose's bat. It flew high in the air, the fans rose up from the seats, and the ball... It was out. It was out of the field. It.. it... it was gone!!!

Jose Bautista had just hit a 3 run homerun for the Blue Jays, and the crowd roared, the benches cleared straight after. The memories of 1993 for some of the older Jays fans reappeared in their minds.

It was now 6-3 all of the sudden, and the Jays had a nice comfortable lead. And the relieving for the Jays struggled a bit in the 8th, but Osuna came in and took care of the job.

The ninth then came. Only three outs away from moving on to the next round.

But of course, good ol' Roberto easily mowed down the Rangers batting crew. In fact, they barely even put up a fight and the crowd celebrated, the interviews came flooding in, and most importantly... The Jays had their Booze, and they knew they just came back from losing a 2-0 series to winning it 3-2.

I celebrated and cheered for the team I was following for years, ever since I was around 8. I called a few friends on Skype, and we all knew what had happened.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's now celebration time Canada, but, we still have ways to go. We must now face either the Royals or Houston.

It has already been so much fun in my 1st year in running /t/bluejays Thank you all for supporting the tribe even if I'm not always consistent with the box score and that I don't always post the Game Threads & Postgame Threads on time.

I will see you all probably next Friday for the next game thread!
