The argument for their differences/separation makes no sense to anyone other than the self-proclaimed philosopher or theologian. If there is no philosophy contained in religion, can be none in it's denial.

I see more common threads than weakest links, and thus agree with Charles Hartshorne.
Have read a lot of "philosophers/philosophies" in my time, only to arrive at the conclusion: they are mostly B.S.
Modern philosophy is a dreadful thing, this Hartshorne I mentioned is a Theologian.
