I think there's something that Yishan and the rest of the admins are forgetting about their "original vision of Reddit"... there wasn't anyone there; it wasn't until the Digg exodus that Reddit took off. So they can go ahead and start banning whomever they like, and start cracking down on content they find objectionable- they'll end up the Admins of the best moderated ghost town on the Internet.
