      Big cats are though. Domesticated cats are usually solo hunters. How do you explain that?

        Bigger cats need bigger prey to support themselves, so they go after bigger prey.

        But the early big cats that did it solo often got killed by their prey and/or couldn't catch it often enough and starved.

        Big cats that hunted in groups got their prey often enough to survive and breed.

        I mean, I didn't look this up or nothing, but that's probably how it went down.
