Honestly, the fact that it became a drama. When a company's actions affect their entire product in such a negative way, it heralds the end of something. I sincerely doubt that this is something reddit can recover from in an easy way. I will still visit for things like /r/ParadoxPlaza, /r/askhistorians, /r/kerbalspaceprogram, and /r/visualnovels, as these were rather unaffected and may take some time to migrate elsewhere. And considering my usage patterns, they would totally flop if I tried to create such tribes here.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to put "please verify your email" in the email subject rather than just "Welcome to Snapzu!"?

I didn't even read that one until I saw this snap. It should also probably say somewhere in the registering process that you need to verify your email.

Ok. It does seem like a nice system, but I would have preferred being told that they did it. I want to choose who or what I follow on my own. But when I u followed all of the ones I got defaulted to, there was a message on the "following" screen that made it look like the default was not following anyone.

When I joined I was like why am I following these sixteen random people?
