This is a good start. It's an index for many of the tribes separated out by category. It's probably one of the better resources you can use, since you have a good array of tribes to choose from, as well as see how many members are in it so you can have a bit of an idea on how much content will be available from them.

I actually am in about the same situation as you are. I saw a lot of possibilities with this site, but unfortunately didn't have enough things to share with it, I felt. Thus, I would just pop by and lurk every now and then. But this time around I might just stay, simply because there is more of a community to speak of. I am worried about it growing too big, and bringing both the good and the bad, but thus far I've been happy with what I've been seeing from this userbase. I'm exciting to see where it goes from here, and will hopefully take more part in the discussions here. :)

I remember seeing people getting worked up over downvotes in some of the smaller subs over at reddit. A lot of the time they were just seeing the vote fuzzing that was happening over there, and panicked about it. I hope Snapzu doesn't end up having to resort to that kind of thing, but overall I don't think Snapzu is the kind of community that elicits "brigading" and whatnot, but that might just be a symptom of it's smaller size. Only time will tell, and here's to hoping for the best!
