Agreed here. Already posted more tonight than I do in most months on reddit. Great atmosphere goes a long way.

Just got here as well and this sure seems like the right place to be.

Really just need more people providing content. Although I really like what I see thus far, there is a bit lacking for more specific tribe content (like in r/gameofthones or r/comicbooks). This is something that will take a bit of time and a few very active people to get going. reddit had/has a huge user base and this gave upvoting some validity, but without enough people generating content there is really no quality filter.

To illustrate this lets compare r/gameofthrone to t/gameofthrones. R has 550,00+ subscribers, T has 56. even if only 1% of R subscribers are providing content, that is still 550 people. It is going to take some time and attracting positive content generators to get this to the standards that reddit once was. This will take time, and take people being more active.

PS: I so drunk right now

That might be a good suggestion to redditors migrating over, if you want more content, provide more content. On reddit it was ok to lurk because there was so much content generation going on, it felt almost futile to participate. Now we have the ability to come into a smaller community and provide quality content and community interaction.

Exactly right. I submitted a few links to reddit 5~6 years ago, but since then there hasn't been much point. There's just so much CONTENT it wasn't worth my effort. But s-zu doesn't have as large a base yet, so it can't sustain as much of an attention sink. The solutions? I've been trying to make submissions to beef up the content here. If everyone does the same we can keep up the momentum.

Anybody know if this movie is worth a watch?

I laughed, I cried, i badalalala'd. I love kids movies in general, but Big Hero 6 was really well done imo. Don't expect any innovation on typical tropes -- just expect them to be done in a really endearing way.

It gets a recommendation from me. I seriously loved it.

It plays on a lot of common tropes yes but for me it felt more of a homage than a recycling. All in all just a generally fun movie that will make it very hard for you to fist bump without uttering a sound effect ever again.

How busy is your life? I was laughing during many parts and can't fist bump some friends without one of us quoting it.

      What movie is it actually?

It's Big Hero 6. Don't worry, it is not the sixth movie of a franchise, just called that way.

I loved it. It's cute and funny and sometimes sad. Give it a shot, you might enjoy it :)

It felt recycled. They took a lot of common super-hero tropes and rolled them into a kid's film. I've got a young kid, and I enjoyed Tangled, Frozen, and the majority of Pixar's offerings. This one? Pass.

I am a 40 something male and watched it recently, it is ok, but more of a kids film than something adults can get much out of as well.

Here are some other snaps you may like...
