It's hard to control where weeds grow but one particular kind of weed was found recently in a traffic circle in Vancouver.

Working with a coach might seem like a privilege reserved for professional runners... yet recreational athletes arguably benefit even more from the attention, knowledge, and guidance of a coach.

9 years ago+1 1 0What does your training look like this week?
Hey /t/run!
I'd love to know what your week looks like for running.
For me, I've been base building for a few weeks now. After completing my first 5K, I've been running into injuries around my leg. I decided to "reset" and start at slow, easy mileage.
I am running about 3-4K in 5 days this week, for a total of 17 KM. No speed training or anything like that, although I always do core workouts twice a week.
What do you plan on running on this week?

I would love to brew up discussion and engagement in /t/beer. The current chief doesn't seem to have any activity for about a year.

By the way, is this post correct usage of this tribe?

9 years ago+2 2 0What is your long term running goal?
I think it's best to start /t/run with the one question that gets you motivated to run. What is your long term running goal? What do you hope to accomplish in your running?
Remember: no goal is too small. You might not be looking to become the next runner to break the Appalachian Trail record, but there is always that goal that keeps you excited and focused on your run. What is it?

What is a tribe's description used for? I can't seem to find it anywhere on my tribe page. I thought it would go under the "Details & origin" section. Should I just throw it in my Tribe Rules section?

9 years ago+9 9 0What's the difference between the green "Submit" button and "Start a discussion" button in a tribe's sidebar?
I'm confused about what the difference is between creating a snap through a tribe's sidebar (Start a discussion/Submit a link) and using the green Submit button in the top right (Upload image / Compose). Do these perform the same function? If so, how come when I choose "Start a discussion" from a tribe's sidebar, I essentially only have two options, Title and Text; whereas if I "Upload image / Compose" from the green Submit button, I have so much more: Title, Introduction, Is it safe for work?, Where to publish?, an array of multimedia to "enhance" my post, etc.?
Should I be using the green Submit button more often, since it has a lot more options for my post?

There are a lot of new members here, and a lot are coming from Reddit. The two major networks that are snatching up these users are Snapzu and Voat.
Ex-Redditors, I'm curious what made you choose Snapzu over Voat. If you are a Voat user who happened across this post, what made you choose Voat over Snapzu?

I'm looking for any active, established tribes that are not defaults. I would list my interests, but I'd rather this discussion be open and valuable to all Snappers.
