And then what you get taught in college is how to live with unicorns.

To kind of go along with this, me and my friends go to college for game design, some of us on the arts side, some on the programming side. Our college also hosts a game conference for students to compete and make games. About four of us wanted to try to do this, but have just been too busy to set aside the time. The sad irony we realized talking about it today is we're so busy with schoolwork that we don't have time to do what we actually came to school in the first place for.

Colleges have become the new milking factories...you pay a fortune, get saddled with debt and find out there is a waiting list for the greeter's job at Walmart when you graduate. All of these consolidations mean one thing...lower and lower level jobs. It's good you are getting into that field, though. There is some future in that one.
