This is what you might call "The Homegrown." It was made at the old Will Vinton Studios on 22nd and NW Pettygrove in Northwest Portland, Oregon. Despite it dealing with darker works of Twain, we saw it when it came out on a school trip to Cinema 21, there on 21st between NW Hoyt and Irving. Some few years later, I got up to some projects with the Three-Headed Alien. Toilsome then but fun now in hindsight, like so many things. Takes me right back and all.
