I again state it's 3 Trillion to implement for every working age person at just the poverty wage level for this year, which goes up yearly. So if we remove the 256 Billion in social and benefit programs from that total you are still looking at nearly 2.7 Trillion dollars added to the budget for this. We will need to tax every robot, tax at our current rate for business and force those businesses to bring in all their funds and not offshore them in Ireland or other tax havens or face penalties, the problem isn't it's a good idea it's a large increase in the budget of the US, as in almost doubling it. Let's say that we change UBI to only pay poverty people the difference between their poverty and the cap, that is more feasible, but then you'll have some claiming you should only get UBI if you are over 18 and working in a dead end job... which won't be available because the jobs are all given to robots.
