Fox News channel was the first one I took off of my cable menu. I just could not stand the "bloviation" . I don't listen to any of them anymore. It's just total propaganda for whatever topic they think suites their viewers, or whatever corporate/government agenda fits their sponsors.

I've watched Fox News a couple of times for as long as I could stand it, which wasn't long at all, and I must say that any brain that can be washed by those gyrating clowns weren't much to begin with. As far as I'm concerned those studies showing conservatives to be less intelligent are right on.

A conservative, by definition, is someone who wants to stay stuck in the past. These people would love to come back to a medieval feudal system, but with modern technology.

The strategies used by Fox are exactly the same used by churches to preserve their followers and their political power. They rely on every single cognitive bias that humans are susceptible to, in order to create an alternate reality that gives them an unquestioning crowd of followers. This sort of strategy is the exact same reason I've always said that religion is the single biggest obstacle to human progress. The worst part is they're actually proud of it.
