I do too, but this method calls for bringing the water to a boil, THEN adding coconut oil, THEN adding rice. When I use a rice cooker, I just put the water and rice and whatever else in there all at once and it turns out "perfect" every time.
Not sure if it makes a difference or not.
Yep, you might have to give it a few tries to get the perfect method down. It's definitely worth a try though, 50% less calories is massive.
I would eat sooo much more rice if it were half the calories!

It would probably taste the same, just a different chemical makeup right? Like a potato changing starch from good to bad when it is heated.
