True, we don't know for sure one way or another. But the argument that you don't experience anything when your brain is vitrified has more weight for me than the alternatives if I don't experience anything then I'm not scared.
On the whole, I'm good with not remembering much if anything of my dreams. It would be different if I one were to be able to dream whatever one wished. What-do-they-call-it? Lucid dreaming? Come to think of it, though, that'd mean more instances waking up thinking something wonderful had happened only to realize differently. I guess not being able to remember them is the next best thing to not having bothersome dreams at all.
