The U.S. Is Retreating from Religion

This would be the best thing to ever happen to the county.
I agree. I wish i could create a virus that goes along with the common cold and oherr virus infections that would knock out not only religious beliefs, but all beliefs in the supernatural and woowoo. and have it ready next week.
That'd be great, but wishful thinking aside, the very best thing that can happen is for religion to simply become obsolete and die. No revolution, no government oppression, just people realizing that there's nothing to gain from it, and/or simply not giving a shit because there are lots more important things to do that worrying about imaginary friends in the sky and their tantrums.

So true. or to expect said "friend" to do xyz for you and to use belief in it to extort money from others. It astounds me snake oil sellers sometimes go to the big house for doing this, yet telepreachers, who are doing the same thing, get a free ride all the way to the bank.
God told me to tell you to send me money! Are you going to disobey the Lord?
What lord? I don't see a lord,or a lady either for that matter.
