The article says that shops stopped buying, do you think that means there won't be much discounted windows 8 stuff?

Only until the fall, when school starts and businesses move into the first quarter things will pick right back up again. You're going to see tons of new stuff hit stores in September. The article is biased. The reason stores aren't buying as much stock is the same reason consumers aren't buying as many pcs. There is NEW STUFF coming out. No one wants to buy a Windows 8 PC right before Windows 10 comes out. Even if it is easy to upgrade. Plus the back to school rush will be selling all new products so retailers don't want to stock up on the old. Don't worry, nothing is changing. Microsoft will dominate the PC market with their OEM partners in the Fall just like they do every single year.
